About Us
We are not a warehouse with a gift section. SimpleVibes is a small studio: we choose the pieces, finish them, personalise them, check them and pack them ourselves, then send them out in our own boxes.
That is why the site looks the way it does — fewer products, more explanation, and a straight answer about how long things take. If you are the kind of person who wants to know what they are buying and who made it, you are in the right place.
What we make
Eight things, mostly. Every one of them started because we wanted it ourselves and could not find a version we liked:
- String art — framed thread art, including portraits made from your own photo.
- Craft kits — mosaic, paper making, book binding, card kits.
- Ceramic mugs and tea cups — Jingdezhen stoneware and porcelain, mostly hand-painted.
- Handmade candles — tea light sets, sculpted pieces and gel candles.
- Personalised gifts — names, photos and calligraphy on things people actually use.
- Lanterns and lamps — woven reed floor and table lanterns.
- Colourful glass — glass planters and small glass decor.
- Candle making kits — for the people who would rather pour their own.
How an order actually works
Stock pieces ship from what we already hold. Personalised pieces are made after you order — you send the name, the date or the photo.
Allow 3–5 business days for making, quality checks and packing. Personalised work adds two to three days, because the piece cannot start until the artwork is confirmed.
Every order is checked by hand before it leaves: glaze, threads, wicks, spelling. It is packed for international transit, not just for a shelf.
Standard shipping is free to the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, the rest of our European zone, Australia and New Zealand. Transit is usually 10–18 business days, and you get a tracking number the day it ships.
Why we explain so much
Most gift shops tell you a product is "perfect for any occasion" and leave you to guess the size, the material and the delivery date. We would rather write the awkward parts down: what a matte glaze does after a year, why a soy candle looks uneven, how long a mosaic tray really takes, when a personalised gift is a bad idea.
That is what our journal is for — buying guides that start with the decision, not the product. If a page does not answer your question, tell us and we will add it.
